About

Carbon Shield is a climate-tech SaaS platform helping mid-sized Dutch and European businesses streamline environmental initiatives, offset CO₂ emissions, and meet sustainability goals. Our easy-to-use tools automate carbon pricing and provide local impact.

We work with local Netherlands based NGO's and e-commerce businesses to present Consumers with an opportunity to offset shipment carbon emissions and contribute towards local environmental projects in the Netherlands.

This idea started in Spring of 2023 at the Rotterdam School of Management and later has been advance with support from the Leiden University PLNT Incubator.

The people behind this venture (Karolis Lajauskas, Isabella Arnold, and Gintaras Aniulis) are ambitious individuals with passion for sustainability, innovation, and unstoppable drive to create local impact.

We aim to make environmental contributions more accessible by compensating the costs of CO₂ emissions from e-commerce and directing it to local sustainable projects in the Netherlands.
