About
Carbon Shield is a climate-tech SaaS platform helping mid-sized Dutch and European businesses streamline environmental initiatives, compensate CO₂ emissions, and meet sustainability goals. Our easy-to-use sustainability solution automates carbon pricing and delivers local impact.
We work with local Netherlands based NGO's and e-commerce businesses to present Consumers with an opportunity to compensate shipment carbon emissions and contribute towards local community projects in the Netherlands. Visit FAQ page for more information.
The Team
This idea started in Spring of 2023 at the Rotterdam School of Management and later has been advance with support from the Leiden University PLNT Incubator.
The people behind this venture Karolis Lajauskas, Isabella Arnold, and Gintaras Aniulis are ambitious individuals with passion for sustainability, innovation, and unstoppable drive to create positive local impact.
The team has received starting financing from PLNT Leiden and has continued their operations as a bootstrapped startup.
